Developments in the work of administering this complex Museum during
1999 included:-the appointment of Clare Hart, on a part-time basis; the
contribution of Committee of Management members to a roster, to help with
reception, inquiries, sales and phone calls; the very substantial contribution
of Marie Earle, Committee of Management member, who has been staffing the
Visitor Centre once a week (on Sundays) the invaluable work of Ian Marshall,
treasurer of Melbourne's Living Museum of the West, who has put in many
hours on the Museum's accounts, as has the Museum's auditor, Ron Angwin.

Centre, notably Libby McKinnon, Kerrie Poliness, Helen Laffin, Gary Vines,
Pol McMahon.
Acknowledgments
We especially thank Arts Victoria for their core funding during 1999,
since this funding is the base of our extensive program, and Parks Victoria,
for their continuing partnership with us in Pipemakers Park. We acknowledge
the funding for administrative support given by the City of Maribyrnong
and Environment and Heritage Australia during the year and all those who
have funded particular projects undertaken by Melbourne's Living Museum
of the West. We thank the Committee of Managment, especially our president,
Peter Somerville, and Museum members, for ongoing support. The support given
by members of the local communities within Melbourne's western region has
been, as always, a source of strength and inspiration.
