Near the junction of Deep creek and Jackson's Crossing the creek here I found a native raspberry plant. Like it says in the textbooks the berry was rather tasteless. A delicately twining puple fan flower,was pretty but as yet I have't identified it. Maybe a Lobelia pratiodes . Small purple shellfish in river, Poa tussocks.
