What is Pobblebonk? Pobblebonk is one of the exhibitions held at Living Museum. The exhibition was named after one of the several frog species once common to the Maribyrnong estuary and other similar areas of Victoria. Frogs are significant to our environment as the measures of frogs are used to indicate the health of the environment; they determine this by calculating the existence and survival of frogs.
About Pobblebonk... Pobblebonk is primarily about the animals of the Maribyrnong River Estuary. The purpose of the exhibition is to bring attention to these animals and their habitat so that the habitat can be better understood and appreciated with the hope that we can continue to keep it alive.
Pobblebonk has been constructed by a number of organizations and individuals with a diverse range of backgrounds and experience. These people and organizations have shared their passion, time and energy in researching for this exhibition and would like to share it with you.
The exhibition is simple and brief because it is more an introduction and presentation of these wonders in our neighbourhood. For more details, just ask! The museum will happily reference you another insightful and more detailed source.
