- One most commonly found in houses, where it hunts at night on walls and ceilings for insects
- In the bush, it can be found sheltering during the day beneath the loose bark of Eucalypts
Tiger Snake 
- Reptile
- Feeds mainly on smaller mammals and birds
- Will also eat other vertebrates including lizards, smaller snakes, frogs and occasionally fish
- It will not bite unless provoked, but when it does it is dangerously venomous
